Accessibility

Built to be usable.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target shaped how this site was built rather than being checked afterwards.

What is in place

  • Semantic HTML with a single, ordered heading structure on every page.
  • A skip link to the main content.
  • Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
  • Every form field has a real, associated label.
  • Text contrast meeting AA against its background.
  • Layout that reflows to 320 px without horizontal scrolling.
  • Motion reduced automatically when the operating system asks for it.
  • Navigation fully operable by keyboard.

Known gaps

  • Images are placeholders. Real alt text is written when the photography arrives.
  • No audit by assistive technology users yet. Automated checks catch perhaps half of what matters.
  • Video, when added, will need captions and a transcript.
