Accessibility
Built to be usable.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target shaped how this site was built rather than being checked afterwards.
What is in place
- Semantic HTML with a single, ordered heading structure on every page.
- A skip link to the main content.
- Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
- Every form field has a real, associated label.
- Text contrast meeting AA against its background.
- Layout that reflows to 320 px without horizontal scrolling.
- Motion reduced automatically when the operating system asks for it.
- Navigation fully operable by keyboard.
Known gaps
- Images are placeholders. Real alt text is written when the photography arrives.
- No audit by assistive technology users yet. Automated checks catch perhaps half of what matters.
- Video, when added, will need captions and a transcript.
